Lessons from the Oroville Dam Emergency

One week after 180,000 people evacuated, many to our town of Chico, we took time to absorb some lessons about our illusions of control and the fallen nature of the world. Most importantly, we reflected on the harder aspects of God’s goodness, especially how he uses our painful experiences in ways we don’t expect.
